Health Focused Gift Ideas - To Suit Every Kind Of Budget

Okay, so the list I’ve curated below contains things I have and genuinely love, or things I’m desperate to own…..across all price ranges. Basically, there’s nothing here I would scoff at if I found it under the Christmas tree, but maybe that’s just me? Variations of this list have been emailed out every year for the last few years - with new additions and changes each year to spark your imagination and show you the many different ways you can gift health to those you love. There are plenty of small and medium budget items below the larger ticket items that might make your eyes water - though with Black Friday discounts popping up all over the place, you might get lucky and nab yourself some sweet deals! Happy shopping!

Big buck 💶 ideas for the practical and cannot-be-pleased peeps:

  • Therafacepro - I don’t know about you but I don’t ever seem to be able to make the time to go and get a facial - and part of that is not finding someone who uses the kinds of products my skin likes. If you’re like me and want to look after yourself on your terms and in the comfort of your own home, this is possibly the next best thing to finding your way to the beauticians. Described as a ‘relaxing facial massage and therapies, all-in-one device’ ….this multi-tasking device reduces tension, relaxes facial muscles and it doesn’t stop there. From skin-toning micro currents to rejuvenating LED light therapy, you can combine and customise more facial health therapies with the therafacepro than any other device’.

  • Joovv Go 2.0 handheld, portable red light therapy device. Helps deliver targeted doses of red and near infrared wavelengths of light to the body for healing. Light therapy is backed by science and peer-reviewed clinical research, and something I often recommend to clients to help promote cellular health; detoxification and improve outcomes for skin conditions like eczema, acne.

  • Elevating your self care rituals with its innovative biohacking technology, HigherDOSE brings nature-inspired tools straight to your home with their luxurious wellness range of devices like PEMF mats and sauna blankets that help to make you feel revived, refreshed, grounded and glowing.

  • An amazing air filter - it sounds so amazing (pun intended) that I want one, but I have a Dyson so I can’t be greedy - or can I!!

  • This next one has zero sex appeal - but as I’m asked about water filters all the time, and I’ve given you a rec for an air filter, I thought why not include this too. I bet someone out there would love to receive it ✋!! If you’ve been contemplating a water filter and didn’t know which one to invest in - this is the one I recommend ‘The Royal Berkey® system. It removes pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites entirely and extracts harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic solvents, radon 222 and trihalomethanes. It also reduces nitrites and unhealthy minerals such as lead and mercury. It can even remove red food coloring from water without removing the beneficial minerals your body needs. Virtually no other system can duplicate this performance.’

  • A Thermomix - if you’re the one always cooking, and frankly you’re sick of it - book a thermomix demo. They are the extra set of hands you don’t have, and probably won’t ever have in the kitchen. From steaming to chopping to blending to whipping to creaming and sous-vide cooking, they are worth every penny……and some. I bought mine when I graduated, and 10 years on it still works a dream.

  • A Dyson hairdyer - or more notably the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer with added intelligence. ‘A network of Nural™ sensors automatically adjusts airflow and temperature to enhance natural shine and protect scalp health.¹ Fast, intelligent drying. No heat damage. Scalp protect mode helps improves scalp moisture retention’. I want one!

  • Find a trusted jeweller whose designs you like, and ask if they can upcycle old, inherited or cast aside pieces of jewellery into new commissioned pieces (you) or they’ll love!

  • Support a cause - one they care about, or one you really care about. Choose carefully as not everyone will appreciate it! I certainly didn’t when an ex-boss bought me a charitable donation of a starved camel for my 18th!! A drink would have done the job!

Low - medium priced holiday gifts:

    Mindset gifts and planners:

  • Lamy pen set. I never leave home without several Lamy pens in my bag. Every season, I buy a new colour cause I write a lot of handwritten notes. My current favourite is Hubba Bubba pink - don’t shoot me, the heart wants what the heart wants, plus I live in a house of boys so I get a free pass to indulge in some girlishness every now and again. A couple of years ago, I discovered from another stationery lover that Lamy sell a smart pen and notebook set - which converts handwritten notes into typed note - a much more efficient way of doing things for types like myself

  • Intelligent Change Planner Helps you to organise and prioritise what needs to get done by order of importance, define annual goals, keep notes, plan out your weeks ahead of time and review weekly and quarterly goals.

  • Intelligent Change Mindful Affirmation Cards.

  • A Mindvalley subscription - ‘Transform your mind and achieve your wildest dreams with the Silva Ultramind System and Mindvalley's library of programs with a mindvalley membership’.

Annee de Mammiel skincare: Hands down my most favourite skincare products so far. I was introduced to this range of products by my sister. Not only are they outstanding, pure and natural, they smell divine too! Try the winter facial oil - it’s a dream.

  • A few, select OWAY hair and body products. They are the lowest tox, best hair colour and hair care products I’ve tried…….and I’ve tried a lot!

  • Vyrao perfumes, candles and incense sticks. Some might say expensive but I say worth it!! Here’s why:  ‘each Vyrao fragrance is created from plant and flower remedies and comes with its own supercharged Herkimer diamond crystal. Each incredible fragrance evokes a specific positive emotion and awakens the energetic field. The fragrances are 80% organic and comprised of 88-89% natural ingredients. We use 100% sugarcane alcohol, grown without pesticides and fertilizers. Vyrao packaging is created from 100% recycled and recyclable fibres.’ I would definitely love to receive one of their scents!!

  • The Dublin Herbalists range of skincare products. From hand creams to delicious smelling moisturisers, their small but extensive range of products are made with herbal and all natural ingredients your body and hormones will thank you for!

  • Codex Labs - a collection of four breakthrough ranges that have been designed to offer solutions for ageing skin, acne prone skin and eczema/psoriasis prone skin. ‘Achieve your healthiest skin with a new standard:plant-based biotech skincare that blends ethnobotany and dermatology, led by data-driven scientist, Dr. Barbara Paldus’. I’ve been using the Bia range for the last few week - unknowingly, my friend recently commented that I was like Benjamin Button - ageing in reverse!! Maybe! if you’re blind and looking from a distance! Also my friend is prone to exaggeration but i have to say, whatever about her comments, I really like how the products smell and feel on my super sensitive skin.

  • These products are the brain baby of my little sister, a professional make-up artist who saw needs unmet in her industry. The reason it appears here is not only because she’s one of my favourite people in the world, the products are the bomb and made with a small list of beautiful, nutritionally-approved, skin-loving ingredients. Buy through the site, through amazon, or contact me as I keep a few here for EU based fans. Proshine: a solid body oil that goes on flat for daytime wear, but comes alive under the lights of the camera. No matter what the season, this product is your quickest way to achieve a red carpet, healthy looking glow in time for the holiday season. Simply twist, glide on and go. NEW PROSHINE by CDM Cotton Scrub Towels, your biodegradable quick fix. Contains Retinol to unclog pores, increase cell production, exfoliate the skin and increase collagen for fresher, plumper skin. Relax and peace out gifts:

  • A voucher for yoga, guided mindfulness and meditation sessions, or a weekend away on a silent retreat (next one is June 2025). All these are possible with my yoga teacher Susie. She’s been my teacher for years (even though I have been absent for many of them!! - I never said I was perfect 🤦🏼‍♀️). If you’re looking for good energy, empathy, warmth, and zero jugement, I cannot recommend her or her services enough.

  • Sensate - It’s you’ve trouble getting off to sleep, you’re prone to a racing heart, anxiety and stress this will takes you from 10 to 0 in 10 minutes. I have one and start every day with it! Go check it out!!

  • Essential oil diffuser and or oils - Puressentiel or dõTERRA are the brands I recommend. I don’t recommend buying or using essential oils that are not pure or well sourced.

  • Slip sleep masks - blackout the street lights or dawn getting in the way of your sleep with these designer, beautifully packaging and fin sleep masks. Apart from sleep masks, they sell silk pillowcases (perfect for flyaway and frizzy hair), hairbands and travel pillows.

  • Myotape - mouth tape for better breathing, oxygenation, jaw development and restorative sleep. Perfect stocking filler for the open mouth sleepers and athletes amoung us!

Hope by Niall Harbison: This is another plug for one of my family members. Niall is my husband’s son and is out in Thailand saving street dogs, funding other charitable organisations to do the same and building a hospital for very sick dogs. It’s a great read, all proceeds go to the dogs (it certainly doesn’t go on his wardrobe - that much i can guarantee you!) so if your know someone who loves dogs and has just about everything else, I’m sure they’d appreciate this!
